Ugly Little Thing

Just don't call it a car. It is the Honda unFIT. More like the Japanese answer to the YUGO. You remember the YUGO? Right? That masterpiece of Serbocroatian engineering. Well, now the boys from Tokyo have a contender. Namely a piece of CARbage that is ugly and poor.

Ya gotta admit, the Honda unFIT looks so ugly you will stay a batchelor if you dare to buy one. :)

Child Labor

In a rush to oursource US jobs to India, many executives have added child labors as a needed evil to fatten the bottom line. The Gap recently was hit with allegations that little children were producing the clothes.

The dimly lit sweatshops in the heart of India supply the executives with a tidy profit. True child labor is illegal in India, but money talks. Each CEO of large fortune 500 firms could care less about kids, the want to make money. The term Evil Executive is as redundant as dirty dustbin.

When you ask an executive what they are doing they respond with "I don't know what you are talking about. I'm real busy right now." Doing what, playing golf?

Big Box Mart & Vinyl Village

The happy towns with their mom and pop shop have been replace by sterile antiseptic vinyl villages and big box mart.

Gone are the happy days of old. Well, we now have outsourced and downsized most jobs out of the US. Those still left are done by illegal aliens working for less than the minimum wage with zero benefits and the constant threat of deportation.

What happened to the dream?

Birth of a Nation

The movie "Birth of a Nation" is a classic. Made in 1915 it gives us a glimpse at how things were in that long ago era. The interracial scene between Flora and Gus was impossible in 1915 since interracial marraige was illegal in most states and would remain so until the 1960's.

Washington Mutual has 75% drop in 3rd quarter profits. The banking giant is down for the count. The one two punch of bad home loans and risky interest only mortgage packages has destroyed their profit picture.

According to them our air was full of methane (main component of farts) as well as ammonia (old diapers). What a horrible place. It was thanks to blue green algae that we have oxygen.
