The middle east is in chaos after a major disrution in service, Egypt report only 40% internet, an India has its outsourcing business crippled by the worst outage in years. WEll, now we see why a wired world is not that great. The internet is very vulnerable to a hacker or cut wire.
It is believe that a broken undersea cable is the cause of the internet outage. Traffic is slow today as alternat carriers and satellites are pressed into duty to service the increase in traffic.

Housing woe spreads to eurozone
The housing collapse in america is spreading to the eurozone. Housing prices in the UK are not net crashing, but dropping at a speed not seen since the early 90's.
A mistake that investors make is to forget that the world economy is truly global and we see the same problems that hit the US market hitting the eurozone. Due to the credit crunch many banks are not lending like they used to. This means less money is abailable to buy a home. A bad sign is that shares of the UK's leading home builders are falling. The same thing happened in the US before the crash.

Transportation - the road ahead
What exist out in the distance? A see a long hard rocky road for our world, but perhaps we can help by using less energy. The common bicycle is great as a fuel less method of transportation, but it is slow and you get to work all dripping in sweat.
My suggesstion for getting to work or school is the scooter. It uses little fuel and rides fast. The cost is tiny compared to a car. A brand new scooter is less than a thousand dollars. If you are worried about rain future scooters will have a canopy to protect you.
This is the wave of the future. People will soon see scooters on every street as young students try to cope with high fuel prices and the declining dollar.

Future of Toys
Most kids love to get new toys for their birthday. Often we might think that in the future, toys might become very high tech like small robot dolls. Perhaps we could imagine battle bots for boys and cute android dolls for the girls. Artificial intelligence will make these toys and games a lot more interactive.
Even a big boy likes his toy, but many of these new high tech gifts will no doubt be very expensive. The wooden blocks of yesteryear will not please the tech wise children of the future. Even tiny tots will demand future toys.

New HD Camcorder
I just bought a Kodak 1275 camera with is 12MP for pictures and for video is 720p. It is the latest HD Camcorder from Kodak. The movies are excellent and I paid only $195 for this HD video camera.
Unlike the Sony W55 which takes 320X200 videos the Kodak Z1275 gives you a huge video. You get 160 minutes of 30fps 1280X720 on a 4gb SD card. I was max out blown away by the video. It is 30fps HD quality at an affordable price. In fact, Tecnon Digital has the Kodak Z1275 on sale for only $169.
Most of my video does not use a tripod so the double anti-shake image stabilizing technology gives you rock solid video. The Hd Camcorders from Kodak rule the school. They can teach other companies how to make great pictures and videos.
The pictures are an amazing 3000X4000 and nice sharp image with a low grain plus a great focus. You can take pictures in low light up to 3200 iso. The camera comes with 5X optical zoom and macro mode for close-ups which both work in video mode. In contrast the Sony W55 has the zoom diabled in video mode.
The Kodak Z1275 camera had a real-time histogram and battery life and number of pictures left or seconds of video on the giant LCD screen.

World's cheapest car
Scooters are great, except when it rains. Here is a car that can replace the scooter. The Tata Nano is the world's cheapest car at only $2500 and it seats five and gets 50mpg and has four doors.
The future is here; we can see that the big dino SUV is about to become EXTINCT!

Future of Schools
What will be the future of schools?
Well, I am convinced that as the price of fuel goes up it will cost more and more to transport students to a large building where they sit quietly and listen to lectures. In the future there will be more remote elearning.
Classes over the computer will become more common as many students prefer to study from home. The problems of violence in schools and high costs of operation will force many rural communities to move to an electronic virtual classroom.

Compare cars
The new Aptera built in San Diego California gets 190 miles per recharge and sells for 30k. A hybrid version of the Aptera gets 330mpg. Meanwhile the Toyota Prius Hybrid sells for 25k and gets 43mpg.
But both of these cars are too expensive for most people, so lets look at the low end. Toyota has the Yaris for about $11,000 that gets 34mpg and Tata Motors from India just released the Tata Nano $2500 that gets 50mpg.
So lets compare cars 50mpg for $2500, and $11,000 for 34mpg. I'm sold where can I get my Tata Nano!

Killer bees wiped out the Dinosaurs?
It sounds like a scifi story. Yes, a science buff believes that insects killed off the big beasts. Personally, I prefer the meteor. It sounds a lot more dramatic than a few bad bugs. T-rex felled by a mighty mosquito, oh the agony!

Iphone Clone
Is the LG Voyager an Iphone clone? Well, it sure looks like we have a clone of the all too popular apple iphone, in fact, it almost fooled me. They are so sim that it appears like a knockoff fake rolex version of the apple iphone.

The Few
It is sad fact that many great personal fortunes were made by manipulating the stock market and getting government contracts. By individuals that constantly talk about outsourcing and downsizing while having done very little to contribute to society. Many of these parasites have become filthy rich building war machines whose sole purpose is to destroy.
