Getting a scooter

Many people say getting a gas scooter will save you money. The question is - how much? OK, it is not just gasoline, but also you do not need PIP for an under 50cc scooter, or a tag, or as much oil, or any antifreeze (air cooled engine) or as much money for tires, or paint. It has only one spark plug and the motor is very small.

Also, it does not need a big garage, you can keep it inside your house. The expenses of a scooter are muchg less than a car.

Polar Icepack Shrinks

The incredible shrinking icepack of the north is giving me great worry. It is said that in five years the high arctic will be icefree. How will this affect weather patterns? Will the greater evaporation affect the jet stream?

A new solar battery

The future is here. Until now solar batteries were big bulky affairs, but that will soon change. A new invention is a catalyst that causes hydrolysis of water into oxygen and hydrogen when storing solar energy. The solar battery will made use of solar power much more feasible.

Solar power is now a much more practical undertaking as we can store the hydrogen that is generated in tanks until it is needed. Perhaps cars running on hydrogen fuel cells are just around the corner.

These futuristic automobiles are truly the cars of tomorrow, although perhaps only in dreams, yet they do inspire us to bigger and better things. As green concept cars they speak of fuel efficiency, but also I see their bonny bonnets

If only we could live in a world were such beauty as this was common.

Wind Power

Residential wind power for homes could be the future with affordable wind turbines becoming more common. The question is what do we do about areas that are outside the wind corridor. Well, for the south solar is an option, and for the Midwest biomass is an option.
